A resort in the heart of the valley
Vallandry is a resort in the commune of Landry, at 1,600 m altitude, and has a typically Savoyard authentic charm thanks to its pretty chalets and different hamlets. The village is close to the Vanoise National Park, a perfect place for nature-lovers to explore. Plan Peisey shoulders Vallandry and is the oldest part of the resort. The first ski lift built in France is the one at Peisey-Le Villaret, which was opened in 1948. It takes one person per chair and sometimes includes a ski tow.
Peisey-Vallandry has all the mountain activities you need in one place: it's great for cross-country skiing, hikers after stunning scenery, mountain bike thrill-seekers, not to mention enjoying a glass or two on a terrace.
Staying at Peisey-Vallandry also provides access to the Arcs and Grande Plagne ski areas via the Vanoise Express cable car. It may seem like a minor detail, but we love the fact that this gives you the freedom to ski wherever you like. The three resorts join together to form the large Paradiski ski area.
The ski area
Situated midway between Arcs and La Plagne, Peisey-Vallandry is perfect for exploring the Paradiski ski area. It comprises 425 km of pistes, situated between 1,250 and 3,250 m altitude. You'll find a superb range of descents, from marked runs that wind through fir trees to others situated at 3,000 m altitude - unforgettable thrills guaranteed!
In addition to its slopes, the Paradiski area has a wide selection of fun installations. This includes: 2 snowparks for freestyle fans, 3 boardercrosses and 2 boarderglisses to see who can go the fastest, 3 big airbags for vertiginous jumps, 1 waterslide for as much fun as on a water one, and 3 toboggan runs for having fun with family or friends.
Just like Netski, Peisey-Vallandry is all about happy times!
