The Arc 1600 resort

The first of the Les Arcs resorts, Arc 1600 was built over 50 years ago. This delightful little resort oozes authenticity and although its ski area is small, it offers some lovely natural wooded runs. More advanced skiers can easily link up with the larger ski areas of Arc 1800 and Arc 2000.

Authentic resort with lots of charm

Due to its small size and pedestrian streets, traditional chalets and friendly atmosphere, Arc 1600 is ideal for a family holiday. Although it is compact, the resort has all the amenities you expect: ski rental outlets, restaurants, town centre: everything you could want to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing week-long winter sports holiday.

Ski area

Whilst it is quite small, the skiable terrain in Arc 1600 is s real delight to explore. In this wooded natural setting, most of the pistes are blue runs, however some average difficulty red runs also exist. More experienced skiers will want to take advantage of the facilities and ski lifts offering easy access up to Arc 1800 and Arc 2000 for a larger ski area where the pistes cater for different levels of difficulty.
