At about 1,350 m altitude, the municipality of La Lécherette together with its neighbour Les Mosses make up the winter sports resort of Les Mosses - La Lécherette.

Set out and explore the valley on a hike up the Kirchenhügel (Temple hill), sample local food in restaurants and chalets serving delicious specialties, and definitely don't leave without tasting the valley’s famous cheese : L’Etivaz PDO, which is hand-made using milk heated over a wood fire, just the way the ancestors did.

Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski area

The combined ski area of La Lécherette, Leysin and Les Mosses offers over 100 km of pistes. The two ski areas are interlinked by shuttle buses that depart the town centres every 30 minutes. The facilities are modern and maintained to a very high standard to ensure a smooth and rapid access to the slopes.

Over in Leysin, snowboarders and freestyle fans will love the terrain park featuring a half-pipe and skicross circuit. Beginners are also welcome here to work on perfecting their style and tricks.

If you’d like to try another discipline, La Lécherette is also the starting point for many snowshoeing excursions across the resort’s 50 km of safe marked trails. An excellent way to spend the day exploring the valley and discovering its superb viewpoints.
