Métabief: a skiing destination for foodies

The village of Métabief in the Jura region began its transformation into a ski resort in the 1950s. Beforehand, the villagers had subsisted from livestock farming and dairy production. Even today, Métabief is a prized location for sampling French cheeses such as Comté, Morbier, Mont d’Or and Bleu de Gex during a tour of a local dairy.
