Les Menuires ski resort has been in existence for over 55 years, located in the Belleville commune. It was built in the 1960s during the boom of skiing, establishing itself as a prime destination for many skiing enthusiasts, especially with its access to the "3 Vallées" ski area.

The resort gained its reputation as a sports destination, notably hosting the men's slalom event during the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, won by Norwegian Finn Christian Jagge. Les Menuires has earned several labels, affirming its sporty, family-friendly, and welcoming environment, such as "Best Family Resorts" in 2015, "Top Ski Domain" and "Top of the French Alps."

Ski Area

Les Menuires is interconnected with Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Méribel slopes, Val Thorens, and Courchevel districts through the largest ski area in the world: the "3 Vallées." The Les Menuires sector features a total of 76 slopes ranging from 1,100 meters to 3,200 meters in altitude.

Accessible by car, Pralognan la Vanoise area is about thirty kilometers away.

The 3 Vallées includes three main sectors: Mont de la Chambre, recently renovated and highly favored by families; La Masse, offering magnificent panoramas from its summit and numerous off-piste routes; and Les Grangeraies sector, providing access to Saint-Martin from Les Menuires and to the Méribel resort. The resort offers numerous activities such as snowshoeing, sledding, dog sledding, and boasts a large aquasports complex.
