Skiloc Chamonix
This family-run shop is located at the entrance of Chamonix, 200m from the Aiguille du Midi cable car and its famous Vallée Blanche, well known worldwide for off-piste skiing. The Netski Skiloc shop was founded around thirty years ago at the foot of the Chamois Blanc residence. It has been run by a husband and wife team since 2020, with loyal employees since its creation.
Our philosophy: customer satisfaction, top-quality, up-to-date equipment, advice and good humour, in French and English.
In addition to ski hire, as in all resorts, we also offer hire more specific equipment such as ski touring, mountaineering and safety equipment, Nordic skiing, snowshoes, sledges, baby carriers and also ski jackets and trousers. If you wish, for an additional fee, we have individual lockers where you can leave your equipment each evening. We can even dry your ski boots and snowboard boots on a daily basis. The Chamonix resort
Chamonix is not just one of the most beautiful ski resorts in France, it is famous for it's mountain sports, and is the capital of mountaineering for several centuries even before the invention of modern skiing.
The town is ultra-dynamic: you can meet people from all over the world, with the close proximity of Italy and Switzerland playing a big part in this cultural Valley. The many nationalities present in both high and low season give the valley a pleasant cosmopolitan atmosphere, showing a richly mixed side of our French mountains.
The resort offers a huge range of activities for mountain lovers and après-ski enthusiasts. Thrill-seekers beware! At Grand Montets, you can indulge in the joys of freeride, with numerous pistes offering impressive vertical drops and superb off-piste itineraries. At Balme, the pistes are easy and you don't need to be an expert skier to have fun. At Le Brévent, you can enjoy magnificent views of Mont Blanc while skiing on intermediate pistes. This ski area is linked to the Flégère ski area, which offers a variety of runs.
