Modern resort
St. Anton is a very modern resort with facilities that are at the cutting edge of technology. The resort aims to provide the highest levels of comfort and convenience whilst preserving the unique and authentic character of a small village in Austria’s Tyrol. The pedestrian area of the city centre is where you can find many shops.
Ski area
St. Anton’s ski terrain is the resort’s main asset. This hallowed terrain for sporting tradition even hosted the Ski World Cup in 2001. 305 km of alpine skiing and 200 km of powdery pistes ensure that all skiing abilities and ages are catered for here. Such is the variety of runs that you can easily spend all day going from one piste to the next without ever reusing the same ski lift as you endlessly discover new scenery and panoramas. And if snowshoeing is more your thing, there are over 40 km of cross-country ski trails and lots of excellent groomed trails for winter hiking.
