Ski hire Sierra Nevada

The ski resort of Sierra Nevada sits at an elevation of 2,100 m in the mountain range of the same name and is the highest altitude ski resort in Spain. It enjoys a very favourable climate that has earned it the reputation as Europe's sunniest ski resort with sunshine on 80% of days during the ski season.

Given its ideal climate, there is a very high probability that your stay in Sierra Nevada will be a sunny one. The centre of the resort village, Pradollano, contains all the services you need to have a successful stay: restaurants, hotels, apartment complexes, shops, ski hire shop, etc.

The other resort area is Borreguiles from where the gondolas up to the ski area depart. Whilst this is not the liveliest area, it does have more affordable holiday complexes and restaurants. And the main advantage of Borreguiles is that you enjoy direct access to the ski slopes.

The resort’s ski area is divided into six sectors, totalling 103 pistes served by 30 ski lifts.

The Pradollano day-care centre looks after kids aged from 4 months to 6 years of age and is supervised by qualified staff. Children under 12 years old can sign up to Family Club Kids where they are welcomed in small groups of no more than five to enjoy a varied programme of fun activities.

In addition, Sierra Nevada is also well-known as a snowboarder’s paradise. The large freestyle park (Sulayr) is an amazing facility for snowboarders wanting to train.
